Linda Joyce

Linda Joyce was born in Biloxi, Mississippi, yet she calls New Orleans home. There, generations of her daddy’s family were born and buried. She grew up traipsing across the United States from one Air Force base to the next, add in a four-year tour of Japan, yet she always returns to New Orleans to recharge and reconnect with her roots. However, people often give her odd looks when she explains she’s Asian-Cajun-Irish.

She took the long road to writing via college (University of Florida) and corporate America (Litigation manager for an insurance company). Now Linda is an award-winning writer and author.

She currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and three dogs: General Beauregard, Gentleman Jack, and Masterpiece Renoir.

Linda loves the game of Six Degrees of Separation and loves connecting with people. She always seeks to discover if she may have crossed paths with them before.

    Hi Linda,

I just read “How Do You Count Your Words.” It was exceptionally well done. I really like your writing style. You are going to be rich and famous someday. More importantly, your life is going to be filled with lots of smiles and joy.

I’m going to try to link this article to my FB page.

    Hi Linda,

Happy Belated Birthday Wishes! I hadn’t checked out your blog for a while. I have it bookmarked though, so I’ll keep checking out your greart articles. I really liked “Are You 2012 SMART?” Just what I needed as I set my New Year’s Resolutions/Goals. This year I earned my own monthly column. In 2012, I’m going to achieve my biggest goal of getting a book published (who knows, maybe even a book series). See you got me all motivated. I must go now if I am to achieve my biggest goal for 2012.

Happy New Year. I wish you all the best in 2012!
